Cirrus is a plants with strong vitality which symbolizes the beginning of new life. In the minds of Chinese, death is so poeticized, and also associate sleep with death. So in my flm, the sound sleep of the elderly is a metaphor for death. To some extent, life exists in a different form.
This is the frst time I encountered with the techniques of layered stop-motion animation. In the course of exploration, our group used warm light to create a peaceful and warm visual atmosphere.
